Useful Phrases

There are two styles for starting the time:	12 hour time	24 hour time	24 hour time pronunciation
A. The 12 hour clock. This is the most common time style for everyday use.	7.30 am 10.00 am 1.00 pm	07.30 hours 10.00 hours 13.00 hours	Oh seven thirty hours Ten hundred hours Thirteen hundred hours
B. The 24 hour clock. This is most often used for timetables and schedules. egg. 20.00 hours, 08.30 hours	6.15 pm 11.05 pm	18.15 hours 23.05 hours	Eighteen fifteen hours Twenty three zero five hours

Conversation

Ask a friend what time she/ he usually does the activity shown in the picture and write a sentence about it (no.l & 2 are given as examples) andthen report it to class.

Homework

Write sentences comparing your and your friend's habits.
